Eddie is having a dilemma with his 17-year-old son.
The Weeknd is coming to Nashville and Eddie's son wants to go with his buddies. Just a month back, Eddie took his son to his first concert. They went to see Kendrick Lamar together at the Dallas Cowboys stadium. During that experience, Eddie felt like it was safe and the concert wasn't anything to be concerned about.
Now, his son is asking to go to see The Weeknd with his four friends without any parental supervision. Bobby asked him to share why he would say yes and why he would say no. Eddie obliged, he would say yes because his son loves music, he'd have a good time, and it would be great for him to go. Eddie would say no because he's worried being around his buddies will make his son do questionable things like attempting to buy beer or vape.
Amy was confused why Eddie wouldn't just drop his son and buddies off at the concert that way he was involved and they wouldn't have to worry about any parking. She added that Eddie definitely needs to let him go to the concert because it will be fine. While the whole thing makes Eddie nervous and he may feel better if it was only 2 other friends, the whole show says he need to let his son go. Bobby added that Eddie is the dad and knows his son best, but eventually he needs to cut the chord.
