Connecticut Mom Optimistic After Meta Liable Ruling

An Enfield mother is hoping a recent court ruling against Meta will help her case.

Tammy Rodriguez filed a lawsuit against the parent companies of social media apps after her 11-year-old daughter committed suicide in 2021.

She hopes the California case that found Meta and YouTube liable for being addictive to children will help her find justice.

Rodriguez said there is no court date yet in her daughter's case but it will be heard in federal court in California.
