Western Mass is being warned to brace for possible severe weather today.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch beginning at 5 a.m. and a wind advisory at 2 p.m.
Officials say wind gusts could reach up to 50 miles-per-hour, and heavy rain and snowmelt could cause the flooding of rivers, creeks, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas. Both alerts are set to expire Tuesday morning.
