U-Mass men's basketball stopped Miami-Ohio's chance at history yesterday.
The Minutemen upset previously the undefeated RedHawks 87-83 in the quarterfinals of the MAC tournament to end their dreams of a perfect season.
The RedHawks were only the fifth team this century to finish the regular season without a loss, and are now the second to lose in their conference tournament.
U-Mass moves on to play Toledo this evening in the MAC semifinal, with tip-off set for five in Cleveland.
