There are different versions of this latest scam going around- but Boston Police are out with a scam alert.
Boston police is warning of a scam involving fake parking violation court notices.
In a community alert Saturday, police said the documents resemble official "Notice of Hearing, Parking Violation."
However, these are not being issued by the city or any government agency.
Police urged residents not to scan the QR code or submit payment without first verifying the ticket.
