Police continue to investigate a deadly shooting in Springfield early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say a man was fatally shot on the first block of Barton Street at around 2 a.m.
His identity remains unknown.
Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni says that there is no threat to the public as it is believed to be a targeted attack.
