New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was named NFL Coach of the Year Thursday after leading a dramatic turnaround in his first season with the team.
The Patriots finished 14 and three, won the AFC East, and advanced to Super Bowl 60 after back-to-back four and 13 seasons.
New England also posted a plus-170 point differential and ranked among the league leaders in scoring and total offense.
The season tied for the largest single-year improvement in NFL history, jumping from four wins to 14.
