A man is in custody after a police chase in Western Mass.
Authorities say 35-year-old Kirk Boulier tried to flee from officers in Holyoke after they were alerted of a man assaulting a woman inside a vehicle.
The pursuit continued into Easthampton, where Boulier reportedly ditched the vehicle and tried to flee on foot but was unable to escape.
Boulier faces several charges including assault and kidnapping.
