Officials in Easthampton are unable to confirm ICE activity in the city.
In a statement yesterday, the city said it could not verify reports of ICE operations this week, but noted the Easthampton Police Department does not collaborate with federal immigration officers.
The statement was made in response to recent concerns in the community.
The city said it will continue to monitor the situation.
