The August Jobs Report released Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics fell short of the estimated number of jobs that would be added nationwide.
Additionally, the national unemployment rate rose to four-point-three percent, the highest since October, 2021.
Congressman Richard Neal said Americans cannot afford anymore of what he called President Trump's "disastrous economy."
The Springfield Democrat said the president is quote, "squeezing every wallet as he chases an illegal tariff agenda that is hiking costs, spooking investment and stunting domestic manufacturing."
