A massive fire at a Page Boulevard Scrap yard kept Springfield fire fighters busy for nearly 17 hours, using more than three million gallons of water to extinguish the flames.
So intense was the smoke that State Environmental Officials began testing air quality. There were no reported problems.
There is no cause for the blaze, which was discovered when an employee was leaving the complex Friday night.
There were no reported injuries.
So far there is no cause.
