Governor Maura Healey has signed a bill that expands protections for reproductive and transgender medical care in the commonwealth.
The measure is designed to provide additional protections against intrusions into transgender and reproductive care from out of state entities.
Healey says they will not let anyone come into Massachusetts and attack the state's institutions or its providers.
The governor signed the bill yesterday during a ceremony in Nurses Hall at the State House.
