Karen Read Special Prosecutor Brennan Earned $566K For Retrial

Attorney Hank Brennan was paid 566-thousand-dollars by the Norfolk County DA's office to serve as special prosecutor in the retrial of Karen Read.

Brennan's pay for the retrial was initially capped at 75-thousand-dollars when he was hired in September.

However, his first invoice covering mid-September to the end of October was for over 70-thousand-dollars.

His last two invoices covering late January through the trial were for over 330-thousand-dollars in total.

Read was acquitted on all charges in the death of her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe last month, and was only found guilty of OUI.
