All But Four State Emergency Hotel Shelters Now Closed

All but four of the hotels operating as temporary shelters for homeless and migrant families are now closed.

The remaining 28 hotel shelters were officially closed yesterday, with Governor Maura Healey saying declining caseloads makes the move possible.

Around 130 hotels were operating as shelters at the peak of the crisis.

The final four hotel shelters are expected to remain operating until the end of July.
