The White House is criticizing Boston Mayor Michelle Wu for characterizing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as secret police.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson says the mayor's comments are a disgusting and dangerous attack on law enforcement.
Jackson says it's disturbing that the mayor would side with illegal immigrants over Americans and stoke hatred of law enforcement.
She says Wu is denigrating the same ICE agents who have removed nearly 15 hundred criminal illegal immigrants from Massachusetts.
