NOAA Reveals Hurricane Forecast

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is announcing its forecast for the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

The NOAA says there's a 60-percent chance of an "above-normal" hurricane season.

It's calling for between 13-and-19 named storms, six-to-ten hurricanes, and three-to-five major hurricanes.

It is unclear how many of those storms will impact New England.

The NOAA is the federal agency that's in charge of weather and climate predictions.

Forecasters presented their findings in Gretna, Louisiana --ten days before the start of the 2025 season.
