Senators Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren want an investigation into reports that senior White House advisor Elon Musk used his position to advance personal business interests abroad.
The Massachusetts Democrats and several Senate colleagues have sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking for the investigation.
Musk allegedly used his influence to pressure several foreign governments into granting favorable treatment to his satellite Internet provider Starlink in an apparent exchange for U.S. policy concessions.
