Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha has joined a lawsuit to stop the Trump Administration from halting the development of wind energy.
Neronha and a coalition of 18 attorneys general say the President's directive harms efforts to secure reliable, diversified, and affordable sources of energy that will reduce pollutants, meet clean energy goals and address climate change.
Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell is joining the suit.
Campbell says the president's attempts to stop homegrown wind energy development contradict his claims that there is a growing need for reliable energy.
She's pledging to continue challenging the administration's efforts to chill investment and growth in the wind industry.
