The National Weather Service is continuing a Flood Watch Advisory for all of Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts until 8pm tonight.
Two to four inches of rain is expected in some parts of the state.
According to the NWS Statement, ".Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris."
Rain is predicted for most of the middle of the week with the possibility of drier weather the end of the week.
