Spilka Says Senate Budget Will Not Include Tax Increases

State Senate President Karen Spilka says the budget proposed by the Senate will not include any new taxes.

The Senate Ways and Means Committee is expected to unveil their spending plan tomorrow.

Spilka told NBC-Ten yesterday that new taxes will not be part of their proposal.

Spilka says they are able to hold the line on taxes despite the chaos going on in Washington DC.

The Senate is expected to debate the budget for the next few weeks.
