A joint operation, deemed "Operation No Love" which lasted for about a year in Bristol County led to the arrests of 16 people including two men from Falmouth.
The Massachusetts Attorney General and a half dozen local police department seized more than 23 hundred grams of cocaine---nearly 14 hundred grams of fentanyl, 33 weapons, hundreds of rounds of ammo and almost 110 thousand dollars in cash.
“Operation No Love” began in March of 2024, when members of Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team (CINRET-South), consisting of Troopers and Officers with Brockton and East Bridgewater Police Departments and a special agent with HSI, initiated a narcotics investigation into a drug trafficking organization involved in the distribution of fentanyl and cocaine in Bristol County.
45 year old David Brasil of Falmouth arrested on three distribution charges and is free on 500 dollars bail.
59 year old Mary Hunt - also of Falmouth arrested on possession charges and is free on personal recognizance.
