Massachusetts Economic Development Secretary Yvonne Hao is stepping down from the post at the end of the month.
The Mashpee resident says she must tend to pressing family matters. However, the Secretary says she will be available to the Governor and her administration as an advisor.
In a statement Hao says "It has been such a gift to serve as economic development secretary and to work every day to make Massachusetts more affordable, competitive, and equitable.
Undersecretary of Economic Foundations Ashley Stolba will replace her.
