A 34-year-old Westerly, Rhode Island, man is sentenced to nine-to-12 years in state prison for an accident in late May, 2022, that seriously injured eight motorcyclists in Northfield.
Ryan O'Farrell was driving an SUV pulling a trailer when he allegedly crossed over a solid double line and hit five motorcycles that were part of a motorcycle club from Connecticut.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office said O'Farrell pleaded guilty to being under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash.
