Luke Combs invited Glen Powell and others in the Twisters cast to join him on stage during a recent tour stop.
“Hey Twisters cast, what you say we shotgun one?!” Combs wrote in his caption as he shared a video of that moment on TikTok. Combs, Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos shotgunned beers in front of a roaring crowd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The show took place over the weekend, along with the movie’s highly-anticipated premiere on Friday (July 19). Twisters, a nod to the 1996 blockbuster, follows “a retired tornado-chaser and meteorologist (who) is persuaded to return to Oklahoma to work with a new team and new technologies.”
Combs released the first single from the star-studded Twisters soundtrack earlier this year. He unleashed a powerful music video for “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma,” which included a cameo from NASCAR race driver John Hunter Nemechek and depicted Combs and his band performing amid an intense storm. He filmed it in an open space in Dickson, Tennessee, located outside of Nashville. The album also includes tracks by Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll and many others. Find the full album on iHeartRadio here.
