Massachusetts Officials Criticize CDC Childhood Vaccine Changes

Massachusetts health officials are pushing back after the CDC reduced the number of vaccines recommended for all children.

State leaders say the change could weaken protections against diseases like measles and whooping cough during an already severe flu season.

Governor Maura Healey and Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein called the move dangerous and said Massachusetts will continue promoting full vaccination access statewide.
