Flu Deaths Rise As Cases Surge In Massachusetts

Massachusetts health officials say three children have died from the flu in recent weeks as cases spike statewide.

The Department of Public Health reports flu activity is now "very high" in every region, with hospital visits and deaths increasing.

Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein warned the virus is severe and straining hospitals.
