An investigation is underway after reports of an armed man on campus caused a lock down at U-Mass Lowell.
An alert sent to students said State Police were looking for an Asian male carrying a long weapon, but authorities now believe the person left the area.
Video on social media appears to show a person with a gun walking near a residence hall.
There were no reports of injuries or shots fired.
