Over 40 ballot proposals have been certified by the attorney general's office for the 2026 election cycle.
Attorney General Andrea Campbell certifying that the ballot initiatives meet the minimum requirements does not guarantee they will be on next year's ballot.
Some of the initiatives that are advancing include a proposal to end legal sales of recreational marijuana, and another to restore a version of rent control.
A record breaking 47 ballot questions were originally submitted to the AG's office by the deadline last month.
