The large lizard named Goose that escaped from a home in Webster last month has been captured.
Webster Police did not provide any details, but reported over the weekend that the large water monitor was now in custody.
Goose will be moving in at RSS Oasis, a nonprofit animal sanctuary where it will live in a specially designed permanent habitat and receive expert care.
The five-foot-long lizard was spotted in multiple locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut after escaping from its enclosure.
