Massachusetts is the fourth most expensive state to rent housing according to a new report called "Out of Reach 2025: The High Cost of Housing."
The National Low Income Housing Coalition compiled the report which compared the median cost of rent to the income levels required to cover the expense in each state.
Massachusetts residents must earn nearly 38-dollars an hour to comfortably afford a market rate one-bedroom apartment.
The current market rate is well over 19-hundred-dollars a month.
