Judge Extends Order Blocking Harvard Int'l Student Ban

A federal judge in Boston has extended the order protecting Harvard's foreign students for at least a week.

The judge in the case extended the restraining order that stops the government from denying visas to international students seeking to study at Harvard until at least June 23rd.

The restraining order was due to expire on Thursday before the extension was issued.

A government attorney is arguing that the president has broad authority to control who is allowed into the country.
