Red Sox Trade Rafael Devers To Giants

One of the best bats in the major leagues is heading west.

The Red Sox have traded Rafael Devers to the Giants.

San Francisco is sending right-hander Jordan Hicks, left-hander Kyle Harrison, outfield prospect James Tibbs and pitching prospect Jose Bello to Boston.

Devers is in the second season of a 10-year, 313-million-dollar contract that the Giants are fully taking on.

The 28-year-old is batting .272 with 15 home runs and 58 RBIs this season.
