Massachusetts is implementing a two-year pause on electric vehicle sales requirements for manufacturers unable to meet minimum sales compliance under the Advanced Clean Cars II program.
Governor Maura Healey said the pause will give carmakers more time to invest in their manufacturing and supply chains.
She said that will help ensure additional affordable electric vehicle options at dealerships in the future.
