Massachusetts Congressman Jim McGovern was back in Franklin County on Wednesday.
McGovern met with seniors in Whatley to hear their concerns about potential cuts to Social Security along with Medicaid and Medicare.
McGovern said House Democrats will fight against finalizing the budget that will make the cuts official, stating that they need four Republicans to join them in voting the budget down.
He warned the GOP budget proposal could take about a trillion dollars out of Medicaid.
