Sanders And Warren Address Outrage Following Thompson Murder

Two top senators are addressing the outpouring of anger against the insurance industry following the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Democrat Elizabeth Warren and Independent Bernie Sanders are both condemning Thompson's murder last week in New York City, but are also calling out insurance companies.

Warren said Tuesday that the system is broken, and "violence is never the answer, but people can be pushed only so far."

Sanders called Thompson's murder "unacceptable" but added, "you cannot have people in the insurance industry rejecting needed health care for people while they make billions of dollars in profit."
