Thousands of Springfield residents at risk of losing access to their healthcare providers at the end of the year no longer need to worry.
Baystate Health and insurance carrier Wellpoint agreed to a new multi-year contract on Tuesday.
The deal comes after months of negotiations that left city employees concerned that Baystate Health could be out of Wellpoint's network at the start of 2025.
Officials say details of the new contract are confidential.
