Authorities have identified the man killed in a shooting last week in Chicopee.
The incident took place at a store on Montgomery Street Thursday night, where officers found two men, including the victim, 53-year-old Robert Papalardo of South Hadley.
Police says Papalardo had attempted to rob the store when he was wounded.
The incident remains under investigation.
