Watch Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey Help With Gender Reveal On Stage

Cued by a drum roll (which was a “nice touch”), Old Dominion frontman Matthew Ramsey built anticipation as he helped with a gender reveal on stage. The “Memory Lane” singer promised fans in the audience that he would announce whether their grandchild would be a boy or a girl.

“Are you ready? You ready?” Ramsey said into the microphone as he held the envelope. He smiled and shook his head as he said, “I’m not ready yet,” met by a loud response from the audience as they eagerly awaited the gender reveal. One man in the crowd, the grandfather-to-be, tried to yell to Ramsey. The Old Dominion artist said he “can’t hear ya. I can’t hear ya, but I’m gonna tell you what your grand baby’s gonna be right now.” Ramsey enthusiastically raised the envelope in the air as he made the announcement and congratulated the grandfather. Watch that moment here:

It’s a girl!
