Spent some time in Memphis last week to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and learn about some of the new improvements and projects they've been working on THANKS TO YOU! Got to see Scotty McCreery get an award for being such a big supporter of the hospital and even got to knock something off my LIFE Bucketlist ... the GINOURMOUS BASS PRO SHOPS!

One of my favorite spots in the hospital is the room of flags - the flags are representative not of the patients they treat, but of the doctors from all over the world that have worked at St. Jude.
Scotty McCreery was honored for his support of the hospital with the Randy Owen "Angels Among Us Award". Randy Owen is the reason why country radio becamse so involved with the mission back in 1989. To date country radio has helped to raise over 900,000 million dollars for the kids and families of St. Jude.
And when I landed in Memphis my first stop was a place that has been on my LIFE Bucketlist. The HUGE Pyramid Bass Pro Shops with the tallest free standing elevator in the middle that takes you to a restaurant and overlook at the top. Yes I took it, but midway up I forgot I was afraid of free standing heights! I had to put myself in the corner on the way down! BUT it was worth the experience.
