Fun fact I didn't realize until today... Punky Brewster's bestie Cherie... in real life her name is in fact Cherie Johnson!!
Well the ladies go together to start work on the reboot and documented it on Instagram! The Punky reboot will follow Punky as a newly divorced mom of three (her ex is played by Freddie Prince Jr.) and will air on NBC's new streaming service "Peacock" debuting next spring!!
I'm not even joking when I say Punky had a great influence on my early years... especially her style ;-)
