One gamer was pleasantly surprised when his copy of Super Mario sold for just over $30,000. The game was still in its box in fabulous condition, but what makes it special is that it was sold as a stand alone. Eventually Nintendo bundled Super Mario with the gaming system, but for a very short period of time the game was sold as a stand alone. It's estimated that only about a dozen of these still exist. The hang tag on the box gives it away as a stand alone.
