ABC renewed 9-1-1: Nashville for a second season, officials confirmed on Thursday (March 5).
The fiery action-drama stars LeAnn Rimes, Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Hunter McVey and Juani Feliz. The show is “a high-octane procedural about heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities,” according to ABC. It was created by Tim Minear, Ryan Murphy and Rashad Raisani.
The first season of 9-1-1: Nashville premiered in October 2025. featuring award-winning artist Kane Brown in the pilot episode. the newest episode, airing on Thursday evening (March 5), is a two-hour crossover event with 9-1-1, which was also renewed for another season (season 10) in 2026-27, along with High Potential. The premiere date of 9-1-1: Nashville's second season has not been announced as of publication time.
Some of the stars of the show celebrated the announcement in social media posts. Rimes said she “cannot wait to be back in Nashville with the [9-1-1: Nashville] fam.” She hailed them “the most incredible cast and crew. (I’m” so proud of what we have created together.” McVey, who plays Rimes’ son and who previously spoke with iHeartCountry about his breakout role, said it’s “such a blessing to come back to work with these amazing people. I feel like I’m in a dream.” Feliz said “bring another round cuz we ain’t done yet,” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “Be back soon Nashville!! SEASON 2 LET’S GO!!!”
9-1-1: Nashville airs on Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. ET/8 .m. CT on ABC, and is available to stream the following day on Hulu.
