Emmy Russell and Tyler Ward shared another update after receiving their daughter’s MRI results.

Russell and Ward, who welcomed Baby No. 1 on January 31, said a radiologist confirmed “everything looks normal.” Ward said in video update originally shared on Instagram on Tuesday night (July 22) that “there is one concern, and we will go into details of that at some point. But for the most part, we got to take Taylor home. She has two weeks of medication and then a follow-up. So, in two weeks, we’ll know for sure. But as of now, it is a miracle.”

“It’s actually a miracle,” Russell agreed. “With infantile spasms, it’s very severe and scary, and so, the fact that she has no problems with her brain is a miracle.”

Ward said that Russell, a former American Idol finalist, asked him about opening up about their daughter’s health “because I don’t want to feel alone in this.” He said having support from others “was a game-changer.” Russell began to cry as she thanked others for “thousands and thousands and thousands” of prayers, and said she’s “just so grateful that her MRI on her brain looked good. It’s so rare to get that result.”

Russell and Ward asked for prayers for their daughter, Taylor Ray (Raydiant) Ward, earlier this week. They shared at the time that Taylor had been “fussy” and “crying,” and although it appeared to be from teething at first, the couple soon noticed “small spasms...and rushed to the doctor.” Russell and Ward asked for continued prayers as they shared updates while Taylor was in the hospital with “infantile spasms, which…(is) very, very rare,” Ward said in a previous update.

“If you are dealing with this or have anybody who experiences this, let this be a testament to getting somebody to the emergency room as soon as possible,” Ward said in the video that was removed and re-uploaded on Wednesday (July 23), omitting “some sensitive information” that Russell explains they “didn’t mean to share” initially. “We appreciate you more than you know, and we’ll be back with more details as Taylor continues on her healing journey.”
