Jude Law Resurrects Beloved Character To Fuel 'The Holiday' Sequel Rumors

The Holiday is a very beloved Christmas movie — or anytime movie, really. But, could there be a sequel coming? Mr. Napkin Head himself is giving fans hope!

The film's director, Nancy Meyers, recently reunited with one of the movie's stars, Jude Law, to celebrate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The two were having lunch, and Meyers took video, which she shared to her Instagram, of Law as they were sitting at the table together, and started off by saying, "Congratulations on your so well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, that's amazing."

Then, Meyers noted that the pair hadn't seen each other since the 2006 movie, saying, "I don't think I've seen you since we wrapped The Holiday" — which was the perfect segue into sequel talk! Nancy added, "Speaking which, I've seen you interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you, 'Is there going to be a sequel?' What do you think?"

Law took a big sigh, quietly asking himself, "Is there going to be a sequel," as he slowly brought a napkin over his face with his iconic glasses to resurrect Mr. Napkin Head, a character he transforms into for his character's two young daughters in the movie, and looks pensively, tapping his chin. Nancy then asks, "Is that a yes, Jude?"

The Holiday also stars Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black, as Winslet and Diaz's characters, fresh off breakups, decide to take a holiday by switching homes during Christmas time. The iconic romantic comedy will celebrate its ten year anniversary in 2026.

This is a formal petition to bring back Mr. Napkin Head for a sequel!
