Thomas Rhett helped a friend propose to his girlfriend on stage during a show in Las Vegas.

Rhett introduced two friends from home, Luke and Leslie, because he wanted them “to see what I get to see from the stage,” the country star told the cheering audience. Luke and Leslie emerged on stage, hand in hand. Rhett continued: “But more importantly, I think Luke wanted to ask a very important question.”

Leslie’s hand immediately flew to her heart. Rhett handed the microphone to Luke, who knelt in front of Leslie and popped the question. Leslie emotionally said “yes,” and Rhett cheered for his newly-engaged friends. He embraced them both in a hug and led the crowd in a rendition of “Die a Happy Man,” the romantic ballad that appeared on Rhett’s 2015 record, Tangled Up.

“And I know that I can't ever tell you enough/ That all I need in this life is your crazy love/ If I never get to see the Northern Lights/ Or if I never get to see the Eiffel Tower at night/ Oh, if all I got is your hand in my hand/ Baby, I could die a happy man”

“All I’ll say is, you never know what could happen at one of my shows!” Rhett wrote in his caption as he shared a video of that moment on his social media pages. He congratulated Luke and Leslie again, and said “it was an honor to be a part of this special moment!” Watch that moment here:
