Massachusetts State Representative Francisco Paulino has been indicted on several charges following a federal investigation into his alleged misuse of COVID-19 relief funds.
Paulino is accused of fraudulently obtaining pandemic-related funds and funneling the money to his personal and business bank accounts.
Prosecutors say he used Madison Tax as part of the scheme that ran from April 2020 through December 2021.
In total, he's accused of misusing over 700-thousand dollars.
He's facing multiple charges, including wire fraud and money laundering.
