Car Full Of Teens Runs Over Police Officer Who Tried To Stop Them

A police officer was seriously injured after he was run over by a car full of teenagers in Billings, Montana. Authorities said they tried to pull over vehicle multiple times throughout the evening but the driver managed to evade them.

Around 1 a.m. local time on Saturday (February 15) morning, officers located the car and began to give the driver commands to exit the vehicle. As an officer approached the vehicle, the driver sped towards him and intentionally ran him over.

The officer was rushed to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and underwent back surgery.

The driver fled but crashed a short while later. Six teenagers fled the car on foot but where all taken into custody. Five of the car’s occupants were girls between the ages of 13 and 16. The driver was a 14-year-old boy and was he charged with attempted deliberate homicide.
