Lake Compounce, America's Oldest Amusement Park is not only celebrating 175 years, but also Christmas in July! This weekend (July 24 + July 25) they will be hosting the Connecticut Society of Santa's "Santa-Con" and a food drive through their "Santa Cares" program. The two day event will feature a ton of fun activities including a Santa Parade, meet & greets with photo opportunities and more fun with Mrs. Claus and Santa's helpers.
Over 30 Santa's will be having fun across the park and the REAL Santa will be there as well. Be on the lookout for him!! As the event is also a food drive, they will also be accepting donations of non perishable food items. Everything collected will go to the Bristol and Southington Food Banks. Those that donate, will receive free parking as a thank you.
