Flip-Flops Reinvented, Meet Link The Flip-Shoe

Flip-flops—the discomfort between my toes, constantly slipping out of them, unprotected toes—I hate them, yet I continue to wear them all the time. I guess I'm not the only one who feels this way because designer, Yehuda Azoulay, thought of a solution: Link.

Link is the first ever flip-shoe. Try to picture a croc without the top or flip-flops with no straps. They hug your feet and by the looks of it you can do pretty much any activity in them. They actually seem like they would be extremely comfortable, but I don't know how I feel about the look of them.

I don't know if you'd ever catch me outside of my house with them on, but then again I am a huge believer in "don't knock it, until you try it." So I guess what I'm saying is I would definitely try them out, I'm just not sure if I could walk down the street in them.

They have an Indiegogo site where they reached their goal in only 28 HOURS! That's insane. They have more than doubled their goal now. I'm all about innovation, and I'm loving all of the support for this product.

They come in three colors as of right now: light blue, orange, and red.

You can find out more information on their website and even purchase them for an early bird special price of $69 here. You'll have to wait a few months though. Estimated shipping isn't until November, which could make this an amazing Christmas present.

Would you try these out?
