It's been 2 years we've had a normal St. Patrick's Day in the City and this year Americans are set to spend a record 5.8 billion on proper celebration. Everything from hats and decoration to food and beer too!
The last time I properly partied in the city was back in 2018 when new artist Mitchell Tenpenny visited Boston. He was in town for an artist showcase getting introduced to a bunch of radio peeps. The night will go down in infamy as the time I followed the Freedom Trail home (that's a story for another time).
The last time I properly partied during the Southie Parade... now that was 2012 when I had some friends that lived along the parade route. What I remember about that day was that it was unseasonably warm and people were very willing to make new friends by passing out shots!
This year... I'm ready to PAR-TAY!!!! If you are too here are some great ways to celebrate courtesy of Thrillist. Parade details - Dropkick at House of Blues multiple nights - AND the "Get Lucky Pub Crawl" (30 bar stops and there is a trolley that can transport to some locations).
